“Working with Connected Health Solutions is like being plugged into the best the new media revolution has to offer. MyMediaLife is delivered creatively, thoroughly, and efficiently to engage young people in the process of creating effective messages.. Youth do more than gain knowledge and skills- they learn to think critically about social issues and social change. In the end, our youth produced public service announcements that are creative, funny, thoughtful, and most of all EFFECTIVE. The Connected health Solutions team knows how to make our vision a reality.”
- Michele Perlman, MPH, Community Healthcare Network, Teens PACT Program Director
I produced the music and co directed the PSA [“Protect Me Before You Infect Me”]…It was a project that gave me a chance to use my creativity and turn it into something special and educational. “Protect Me Before You Infect Me” is a PSA that raises the importance of safe sex… Having kids create a PSA that focuses on certain issues that affect them gives them a voice and a creative outlet to speak to the public about these issues. I enjoyed working on this project and I hope to work on more projects in the future.”

“Through most of 2010-2011 I had the pleasure of working with Connected Health Solutions and specifically, Kenny Shults and Imelda Walavalkar. Our organization hired Connected Health Solutions to develop a New Media project with our youth groups, targeting HIV positive young people in our five-clinical-site program between the ages of 15-24. The team from CHS worked with me and my staff to develop a strong program plan using innovative methods and then, worked long hours with our team to pull together a proposal for HHS/HRSA to fund a year-long project with our youth. Our organization, with CHS won the grant and developed an amazing, life-changing program for our youth groups. Throughout the entire process CHS and their multi-skilled and patient staff worked with our youth and clinical teams of social workers, doctors, nurses and peer leaders to implement several components of the project from start to finish.”

"The best presenter and by far the most informative and enjoyable session was the Plenary session on Saturday. I’ll twitter My Evernote if You Meebo your MySpace: The secret language of Social Media and Teens"
"Kenneth Shults knows his information and knows how rapidly the technology changes. He is very effective in explaining the importance of social networking and using modern technology to do so. He was able to make the information understandable but not overly technical at the same time using science-based information. Would love to have him come to Oklahoma, but his language may shock those living in the Bible belt."
"The closing plenary session, I’ll Twitter My Evernote if you Meebo your Myspace: The Secret Language of Social Media and Teens was the best plenary or workshop of the entire conference. The importance of social media and use of texting was highlighted in a real, humorous and useful manner."

"The Connected Health Solutions staff is comprised of amazing facilitators. For the past four years, Connected Health Solutions has facilitated a coalition of which I am a member. The coalition is made up of various personalities, organizations, organizational cultures, ethnicities and varying levels of job titles and expertise. The Connected Health Solutions team has always managed to professionally and very skillfully finesse all of these potential barriers to help us achieve our outcomes and develop healthy working relationships.
CHS staff are geniuses at facilitating meetings and helping others achieve outcomes while imparting real information that can be used to better a group or individuals. Connected Health Solutions has a very engaging style that allows people to be comfortable and are master minds at staying on task even during intense meetings and conversations. CHS’s staff members are master facilitators and seeing them in this capacity is simply amazing."

"Connected Health Solutions has worked with Metro Teen AIDS for over four years and has been instrumental in getting us to move from planning to action in many phases of our organizational development. Connected Health Solutions and their staff consistently show a deep concern for each staff person’s personal and professional growth and provide the appropriate coaching to get us there. We also appreciate the time CHS takes in getting to know the culture of the organization so that even when faced with moving through uncomfortable spots, we have never lost our footing with their guidance and support. Additionally, the Connected Health Solutions staff’s commitment to our success often finds them going above and beyond the call of duty in offering extra technical assistance and support after a retreat or training session. Metro Teen AIDS highly recommends Connected Health Solutions to other organizations that are dealing with tough issues but who are open to see themselves through."

"I’ve worked with Connected Health Solutions staff for over thirteen years. The Connected Health Solutions staff is always genuine and engenders a safe and respectful atmosphere which inspires honest sharing that leads to actual change - even when the people in the room have difficult issues they are working through. While groups may enter retreats, trainings or workshops with a variety of issues from burnout to communication conflicts, they leave with realistic tools to implement, improve and positively impact how they work."

"The staff of Connected Health Solutions is made up of dynamic facilitators who have the ability to build consensus and ignite the power of change and possibility within a group. They can identify the strengths and challenges of a group and help them create a workable plan that incorporates them both. One of CHS’s strengths is their ability to create a calm and productive environment where honest and sometimes difficult conversations can take place and where people feel respected and engaged in the process."
